The attached PDF file which you can download contains many images of census forms and a table of birth and death dates of thirteen siblings. It was easier to add a pdf file instead of adding all the photos and formatting on this site. In an effort to find documentation on the family, I found William and Petronella ( my great grandparents in the U.S. Indian Census 1885-1940. In this document I've included all the images of the family enumerated in these special yearly census. At times it appears the enumerator is asking how old a child will be at their next birthday. Many of the ages seem one year older. The census is usually done in July and some in October, so it makes a difference how old the child will be.
The photo below was taken in approximately 1923 or 1924 as the youngest daughter Mabel was born in January 1923. The family is all wearing heavier coats and bundled up for cold weather. There is not a heavy layer of snow on the ground. It could be the early part of spring in 1924 making Mabel in the photo about 14 months old. All eleven of these siblings lived long lives into their mid-60s to mid-90s in age.
The two children, Vitaline and Lawrence, appeared to die approximately between the age of 2.5 to 4 years old. Additional confusion is caused as the second child Petronaline Angelique Grant
